In Memory of
Ron Dickinson -Strat Aficionado- "The 1975 version of IFL Franchise is underway. IFL Franchise is a keeper league which began in 1964 with a separate AFL and NFL, but merged into a 20 team NFL with NFC and AFC Conferences in 1970."

Besides the guys in the league,
realistic NFL football is the best thing about IFL Franchise.

We are using a simulation-SOM, era-specific formation rules
using modern SOM rules, such as LB 6/0 and Dump-Off.
---------
With a mixed group of players, we have been getting near identical stats
to the actual AFL or NFL. A big part of this is using injuries, attempt limits
and the number of IFL teams, which keeps it from being an All-star league.
---------
With developed rosters, we have watched Hall Of Fame players
star and retire, and we have 10 years of league history.
---------
We can watch a dynamic league develop which we are an active part of
and which is proving to very realistic, entering -perhaps- the
greatest decade in team sports, the 1970's NFL.
